For men, let's grow up together.

 A lot of women now a days want to date feminized men.  They basically want to date women with dicks.

Fine, be gender neutral, transgender, gender fluid, etc. . . But I want nothing to do with you.  I'm sorry you're confused. I'm sorry it hurts.  I'm not sorry to tell it to you straight.  I want to raise a family.  I want to contribute to a society.  You seem to want to tear apart our society with deconstructing the very method we use to continue it, via destroying the roles that we have come to depend on to mate and work together.

I went to a car dealership yesterday to shop for a new Toyota.  I felt embarrassed how little I knew about cars, and also was wary of how vulnerable such a position made me to being taken advantage of, and so I wore an attitude of false confidence. I realize now that although the down side of false confidence is getting results from the world that are not congruent with who you actually are, therefore you get information from the world that doesn't fit who you are truly, what you know and don't know, etc.... I realize that I'm actually really good at expressing false confidence.  I think I use it fairly often as a social tool... or Weapon.....maybe. Kvothe from "Name of the Wind" comes to mind.

12:41am December, 25th, 2024 You get older and one day, suddenly, you realize why "family reunions" exist. You grow up a baby and a kid with your cousins and aunts and uncles, all celebrating Christmas together under one roof because, hell, we're all 3 and 4 year olds - and all of our mom's and dad's are raising kids, and so they turn to each other for community within that experience of being new to parenthood, all together. But one day we all grow up, go to college, get jobs in different states.  Boyfriends, girlfriends, fiances, wives, husbands etc.  And so we can't all meet up under one Christmas roof.  Your family is all meeting up in Texas this year.  My family is all here in California.  Their family is on the east coast. And so one day, there you are, like a cohort of high-school graduates held together by their shared fondness for a life they used to share together.  Only what you graduated from together was a chapter of family life.  You neve...

July 21st, 2018 (roughly)  apartment @ 19th & Pettygrove, Portland, OR (I think)  Car (Toyota Camry) It is so fucking good to be home in an air conditioned house.  Apartment, whatever.... With spaghetti on the stove and outlets to create.  Typing feels so good to get my thoughts down on paper.  I have my composition book to write by hand for experimentation if the interest arises, and I have "Atlas Shrugged" cued up to read if I like. Spaghetti will be off the stove in 15.  I have a phone call to make to set up an appointment to see a car.  Though possibly some little research before making the call. I need to get moving with my life.  Get a foot hold in some money and find the balance for work and play.  Currently I am basically flat broke....And going to owe some money for taxes at the end of the year that I don't have saved up yet... I wonder even who my audience will be when this blog gets off the ground.  Though one thing ...

 Documenting Struggles Unique to Men 1.   Men don't live with the privilege of knowing for certain who impregnated them.  In other words, if a woman is pregnant, only she knows for sure who the father is - whether it is her boyfriend/husband's, or a secret lover's. This, of course, excludes considering the option of a woman who has so many sex partners that she herself doesn't know. In this world, at her discretion, a woman can carry the child of a secret lover, and then deceive her boyfriend/husband into believing it is his in order to drain him of his resources, and steal his ability to devote those resources to someone faithful to him. This is a vulnerability that is not only most dangerous to him, but one that most of society doesn't even think about, let alone lend credibility to.  So he carries this vulnerability with only the support of his brothers, but alone from the rest of society.
